About Rødby Karting Ring
Karting was held for the first time at Rødby Karting Ring at a large-scale inaugural race in April 1972. At that time, with its 672 meters, it was Denmark's longest track.
Since then, the track has been used for many memorable races, and most of Denmark's current famous racing drivers have visited Rødby Karting Ring at an early stage in their careers.
The original track was expropriated for use for the Fehmarn Connection in June 2015 and immediately afterwards destroyed. A new and larger track a few hundred meters further east was built in the period 2016-2018 and put into use in the summer of 2018.
Facts about Rødby Karting Ring
The track is 1.246 meters long with a long start/finish straight, technical corners and some degree of elevation changes.
